ANTIQUE S W PERSIAN TRIBAL CARPET, 2ND HALF 19TH CENTURY.Posted 12/30/2009. Category: kurdish runnerA very interesting antique tribal rug from South West Persia. The rug dates from the 2nd half of the 19th century. The entire rug is covered with tribal motifs, mainly birds, animals and flowers.......... there is not an inch to spare. The condition is low to the knot head in places with some foundation showing through. The rug has been washed and is ready for use. Size: 9ft 6in x 7ft 1in. Date: 2nd half 19th century.. Category assigned: kurdish runner.
